Aura was created by Kelsi and Jeff, two corporate gifting industry veterans who've learned a lot about what works (and what doesn’t) throughout the years, by being on both sides of sending and receiving gifts.
The co-founders first met as colleagues at a gifting experience company. Kelsi focused on brand partnerships, gift curation, operations and logistics while Jeff focused on business development, client partnerships and unparalleled customer service. We’re confident that our combined prowess will provide value to you and most importantly, make your life easier in gifting.
At Aura, we know it’s not just the gift that matters - it’s the experience. We strive to create partnerships that will result in the highest level of quality from communication to customer service and delivery.
Our Team
Kelsi Roberts, Co-founder
Kelsi spent 7 years in a corporate gifting company that specialized in onsite gift experiences. Alongside an amazing team, we focused on gifting high quality and aspirational items onsite at events. Kelsi started as a basic order writer and worked her way up to running the purchasing team and owning brand partnerships. After having her first child, Kelsi moved on to the tech travel space and built out their gifting business that aligned with corporate offsites in the post-pandemic remote world. This is where it became apparent that offering cookie cutter gift boxes just don’t work, because each company, team and event is wildly different. Then aura was born…
Kelsi keeps herself plenty busy - she and her husband, Park, also own a strength and conditioning gym in Boulder, Colorado. Outside of these two pursuits, Kelsi loves being outside, trying to keep up with her 3-year old son, Campbell, and crazy Goldendoodle, Rye, running with her honey, cooking, reading, and the occasional trash reality tv.
Jeff Smith, Co-founder
Jeff has spent his entire professional career in building relationships and customer service. That includes over 6 years corporate gifting offering on-site gift experience, virtual gifting, and speciality gifting. He’s led sales teams from start-ups to large publicly traded corporations. At the root of each role was to improve the client experience and employee appreciation. What he learned was thoughtful, intentional efforts that make a significant impact on a company’s relationship with their employees and clients - nowhere is this truer than in the gifting space.
When he’s not immersed in the world of gifting at Aura, Jeff spends his time with wonderful wife, Lindsey, daughter, Robbie Love, and yellow lab, Macaroni. Whenever possible they love to travel - especially if it leads them to Scotland.
